Tour de Big Bear 2023 – Saturday, August 5th, 2023
Moving to Snow Summit for 2023.
Due to extensive construction going on at Bear Mountain Resort this summer, we’re heading over to Snow Summit for the 2023 Tour de Big Bear/Big Bear Cycling Festival. This includes registration, the cycling expo, start/finish and post event festivities. The entire event will be run from Snow Summit Mountain resort, including the Glow Ride and the Poker Ride.
We’re still ironing out the details, but we think you’re going to LOVE it. And for those of you that really don’t like the climb up to Bear Mountain, well you’re in luck. It’s not on the route! Updated route maps are available on our Course Maps page (Road) and the Dirty Bear/Dirty Cub page (Gravel).
Some of the great features at Snow Summit that we think your entire family will enjoy:
Snow Summit Base Area Activities Open and Available
Base area activities that are perfect for little explorers and thrill-seekers alike, including a 30-foot climbing wall, Euro Bungee trampoline, kids full throttle course, zip line, Grizzly tube park, bounce houses, pump track, panning for gold, face painting, petting zoo, candy shop and live entertainment.
Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair Rides Available
Enjoy panoramic views of the San Bernardino National Forest on a mile-long ascent on Snow Summit’s Scenic Sky Chair before arriving at the mountaintop (Snow Summit elevation 8,200 feet).
We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available. Thank you for your support and we’ll see you soon!
