The Big Bear Cycling Association and the Tour de Big Bear are excited to announce the return of the Tour de Big Bear in 2021 on Saturday, August 7th.
We were disappointed to have had to cancel last year’s event but in light of the COVID situation we felt it was the right thing to do.
That said, participants who registered for 2020 could roll their entries over to 2021 or donate their entry fee to the Big Bear Cycling Association, a 501(c) non-profit organization. We remain committed to supporting not only cycling, but to our local and surrounding communities.
Proceeds from previous Tour de Big Bear events have helped other non-profit groups including:
- Big Bear Antique Car Club
- BBHS Wrestling Team
- Big Bear Pilots’ Association
- Big Bear Valley Community Emergency Response Team (BBV-CERT)
- DOVES (on behalf of US BANK)
- Kiwanis Club
- Lions Club
- Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake
- SoCal Mountains Foundation
The Big Bear Cycling Association and the Tour de Big Bear are committed to the health and safety of our participants and volunteers. We will continue to adhere to Federal, State and Local mandates as well as Protocols from USA Cycling as they pertain to public health and safety.
If for some reason the event is once again postponed or cancelled, we will honor your registration by either refunding or rolling it to the following year’s event.
We look forward to seeing all of you back in Big Bear this year. In the meantime, stay safe!
