COVID-19

The Tour de Big Bear in conjunction with the Big Bear Cycling Association is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation.  Because of the uncertainty of the coming months we have made the decision to postpone the Tour de Big Bear until September 19th, 2020.  By postponing the date, it gives us the best likelihood of being able to host the Tour de Big Bear in 2020.

We recognize that many of you that have already signed up for the August date. We understand that this might cause some problems with scheduling for you. If for some reason you are not able to attend in September we will be happy to carry your entry over to 2021 or you can take advantage of your event insurance (if you purchased that upon registration).

Please keep in mind that the Big Bear Cycling Association is a 100% volunteer operated non-profit and all of the proceeds for this event go towards creating and maintaining local trails and cycling routes, cycling safety and various youth and adult outdoor activities throughout the Big Bear Valley.

We understand how much you look forward to The Tour de Big Bear each year as much as we look forward to sharing our Valley with you, your friends and family. That said, your safety is our number one priority and to ensure your safety we are doing everything possible to host a safe and healthy event. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram or check in on our website for the most up-to-date information.

We appreciate your understanding and patience in this ever-evolving situation and look forward to riding together as soon as possible.   In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!
